Why Meeting Integrations Matter
Your meeting notes shouldn't live in isolation. The real value comes when insights flow into your existing workflows.
Slack integration keeps your team informed without extra effort. Obsidian integration builds your personal knowledge base automatically. Together, they create a powerful meeting integrations ecosystem.
Part 1: Slack Integration
What Gets Shared
Configure exactly what posts to Slack:
- Meeting summaries - Key points and decisions
- Action items - Tasks with assignees and deadlines
- Full transcripts - Complete searchable record
- Recordings - Audio playback links
Setup Steps
Step 1: Connect Slack Workspace
- Open SyntriMeet Settings
- Navigate to Integrations tab
- Click "Connect Slack"
- Authorize SyntriMeet in your workspace
- Select default channel (can change per meeting)
Step 2: Configure Default Behavior
Choose what happens automatically after each meeting:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Summary only | Posts AI summary to channel |
| Summary + action items | Includes task list with @mentions |
| Full package | Summary, actions, and transcript link |
| Manual only | Nothing automatic; you decide each time |
Step 3: Set Channel Rules
Different meetings can post to different channels:
- Team standups -> #engineering-standup
- Client calls -> #client-[name]
- All-hands -> #company-announcements
- 1:1s -> Not shared (private)
